Selective Vocabulary Support
Restore Full Access
- Open any locked lesson, reading, word-skills lesson or check and tap Unlock.
- On the Full Access screen, tap Restore Purchases.
- If no purchase is found, check that the iPad is using the Apple Account that made the purchase, then try again. Apple handles account and billing questions.
Full Access is a one-time non-consumable purchase. Restore uses Apple's StoreKit; the app does not ask you to create an account.
Ask to Buy
If Ask to Buy is enabled for a child's Apple Account, the Full Access screen may say Waiting for approval. The family organiser handles the request through Apple's approval flow. Full Access remains locked while the purchase is pending, and the free Starter stays available. If Apple approves the purchase but access has not updated, open the Full Access screen and tap Restore Purchases.
Move progress to a new iPad
Progress is stored on the iPad and does not sync through the app. On the old iPad, open Progress → Overview → Save a copy, then save SelectiveVocabulary-Progress.json somewhere you can reach from the new iPad, such as Files or iCloud Drive. On the new iPad, install Selective Vocabulary, then open Progress → Overview → Load a copy and choose that file.
Loading a copy replaces the progress currently in the app; it does not merge two saves. Save a copy of any progress already on the new iPad first, and keep the original backup until you have confirmed the restored progress.
